Privacy Policy

In short

AutoForge is privacy-minded. The content you download, your links and the files you process all stay local — we don't upload or store them. To verify your license we collect only the minimum device information needed, plus anonymous usage statistics and crash reports that you can turn off anytime in Settings.

What we collect

• Device identifier: a code that can't be traced back to you, used to bind a key to a limited number of devices.
• License status: to confirm a key is valid and how bound devices are used.
• Order info: the order number and email from your purchase, to send and recover keys.
• Anonymous usage statistics: which features are used and aggregate download success/failure types (never your links, file names or video content), used to improve the product.
• Diagnostics & crash reports: error stack traces and environment info (such as OS version) when the app malfunctions, used to find and fix problems.

What we don't collect

We don't collect the content you download, your links or the files you process. Downloading and processing happen locally and never pass through our servers.

Why we collect it

• Verify your license: confirm a key is valid and limit the device count.
• Prevent abuse: detect unusual use to protect paying customers.
• Improve the product: find and fix issues via anonymous statistics and crash reports.

Your choices

Usage statistics and diagnostics are on by default; you can turn them off anytime in the app under Settings → Send usage & diagnostics data. The device identifier, license and order info are required to provide the service and can't be disabled.

Retention & sharing

License and order info are kept for the life of the license and cleared within a reasonable period after it lapses. Anonymous statistics and crash data are kept only as long as needed to improve the product.

We share only the minimum needed with our payment and cloud providers, and never sell your personal information.
